1pana operates as a managed accounting platform committed to protecting the privacy of small and medium sized enterprises in Nepal. This policy outlines our protocols for collecting and handling sensitive financial information. By accessing our web and mobile applications you agree to the terms described in this statement.
We collect data that specifically identifies you as an individual. This includes your full legal name, your contact phone number, your personal email address, and any identifying credentials provided during the registration process.
We collect essential records about your commercial entity. This includes your legal business name, your Permanent Account Number (PAN), your office registration details, and your official industry sector for categorization.
We process financial documents that you upload for accounting purposes. This includes digital copies of sales invoices, purchase bills, expense receipts, bank statements, and tax related certificates required for bookkeeping.
Our servers automatically record technical data when you interact with the console. This includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type, your device operating system, and your session timestamps to ensure secure and authorized access.
Your information is utilized strictly to provide managed accounting services. This involves generating financial reports, monitoring VAT and TDS compliance, and facilitating direct communication regarding your accounting status.
We implement industry standard security measures. All documents are stored using AES 256 bit encryption at rest and are brokered through secure short lived signed URLs to prevent unauthorized data access.
We do not sell your personal or financial data. Information is shared only with your assigned professional accountant and essential cloud service providers such as Google Cloud and Cloudflare for infrastructure purposes.
We maintain your financial records for the duration of your active subscription. Following termination, we may retain specific records to comply with the standard 7 year audit requirement under the laws of Nepal.
You possess the right to access, update, and request the deletion of your data. You may export your full financial statements at any time through the Reports Center before closing your account.
We reserve the right to update this policy to reflect changes in our data practices. We will notify users of any material changes via email or system alerts prior to the effective date.
